Grace be unto you from me my beloved
Christian brothers & sisters.
Let us thank God once again for allowing the meeting
of this group to share in His word.
Take out some time in your schedule to give
God praise for all He has done for you.
May this upcoming week be a blessing to
each of you & may the Holy Spirit speak to your heart.
Traveling down a road, suddenly,
you are faced with a crossroad.
You cannot go straight anymore; either make
a left turn, onto a single lane road,
with curves, dips, & other assortment of obstacles,
but there is light all of the way for your journey.
Turn right & WOW!!, there is a multi-lane highway
with smooth surfaces, many people traveling
that same road, a lot of excitement,
there is an illusion of light,
the further you travel, the dimmer the light,
a counterfeit of the
"True Light"
ultimately finding yourself in darkness,
no light to guide you.
Without the light of Jesus,
We would be in the dark about God.
This brings me to my topic for this week:

Dear Friends,
I hope you enjoyed my little story,
but in our lives, we are faced with this decision
at one time or another.
We follow the ways of this world,
with all the smoothness & excitement it
has to offer, but all the time,
we are in darkness,
not looking for the true light,
which is Jesus Christ,
to guide us on our life's journey.
There is a way that seems right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death.
(Proverbs 16:25)
** Dear friends,**
** these are the words of ** ** God, not my own **
If we choose to follow Him,
it is not said in the Bible,
that it is going to be easy following Jesus,
there will be dips,
curves & other hardships along the way,
but we have confidence,
that in this suffering & trials, we are joined to our saviour.
His light shall guide us for all eternity.
That is why, we should always thank Him,
for dying for us, in that,
we can always change our way of living
& make a decision to take up our cross
& follow Him, while our blood runs warm through our body.
Am I Right About It?
Thank You Lord
Once the fame & fortune, sometimes even family
has left us, only God will be there
with open arms to give us the comfort & peace of mind that we need.
Friends, why do we feel we have to follow
the dark road, instead of the pathway of light?
By nature we are all spiritually blind,
because of sin.
A born-again Christian sees not his/her journey
as dark, blurred, but one with purpose
& full of spiritual truth.
Jesus' declaration:
"I am the light of the world.
He who follows me, shall not walk in darkness,
but have the light of life".
(John 8:12)
Isaiah warns those of confusing light for dark.
(Isaiah 5:20)
You see dear friends,
when we have made that u-turn,
to follow the light,
we are called as the Bible says:
"children of light & children of day".
(I Thessolonians 5:5)
God is pleased to share His mysteries
& secrets with us, we are no longer in the dark,
we know why we came here, where we came from, &
we are assured, where we are going.
In a world, which follows the road that has no light,
we must turn around & never look back.
Have you ever wondered why you have not been promoted,
uprooted to another locale, or even
terminated from your job or position?
It could very well be, in that atmosphere of darkness,
God has chosen YOU, to be an illumination;
a light needed to influence those
who will see their darkness, to come to Christ.
As I have stated in another topic,
I believe it was on the subject of "Crowns",
when we are reunited with loved ones
& friends in heaven,
how wonderful it will be to hear
from those who had no light,
& they tell you,
"Thank You"
for sharing God's plan of salvation &
living a Christ-Like lifestyle before them.
Hearing from the precious lips of Jesus Christ;
saying "well done, thy good & faithful servant".
I shall wear that Crown friends, what about you?
Thank God, for using you in His purpose, friends.
As "lights in the world", as a believer,
we have to privilege of illuminating
the dark places of this world.
(Philippians 2:15)
Is Your Light Shining Brightly?
The apostle Paul is my most favorite person
in all the Bible,
through all he did against God's people,
God used him to the utmost & no other man,
other than Jesus,
in the New Testament or the whole Bible,
in my opinion, influenced more people
to turn to Christ & establishing Christianity.
In the book of Acts
(Chapter 26)
we can see the literal showing of God's light
to him & thus changing him forever.
He had been traveling the road of darkness &
he made his u-turn without any questions,
for he knew it was the will
of God for his life.
It could be said that the dying words
of Stephen lodged deeply in Saul's mind
(aka Paul), before his conversion,
working quietly to make him ready for that
Great Vision on his road to Damascus.
Stephen's Martyrdom was the price
paid for Saul's soul.
And what a soul!!!!
Dear friends, God can always find us &
show His light unto us, making us follow
Him, when He wants us to do a work for Him,
but He wants us to use our free will &
serve Him without such measure.
We should want to follow His light,
& live our life acceptable before Him,
for He loved us so,
that He gave His Beloved Son for us.
Remember, that you can always make
a u-turn & follow Jesus.

v.2 reinforces God as creator:
"He wears light as if it is a garment",
God is just wonderful,
a beautiful nature Psalm of David.
And there shall be no night there;
and they need no candle,
neither light of the sun;
for the Lord God giveth them light:
and they shall reign for ever and ever.
(Revelation 22:5)
