***Deuteronomy 4***

*** Verse 40 ***

~Thou shalt keep therefore~
his statues, and his
commandments,
which I command thee
this day,
that it may go well with thee,
and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth,
which the Lord thy
God
giveth thee,
**for ever.**

We are to be good stewards with what the Lord has blessed us with & this verse says it all. I am led to speak to you concerning our children. As a parent or parents or even a mentor to a child, our lives should first reflect the teachings & dedication to our Lord. He has set before us in holy text, his plan for our lives & should be seen in our actions around our children. Again, I hope that God almighty will touch your heart in joining me in sharing a verse of scripture, along with your friends & those who do not wish to receive anymore verses, let me know that by this, I shall not offend anyone.
Peace unto all of you & pray for one another in the uplifting of spirit & healing.

A Vision:
*Stewardship Of Our Children*

May God get the glory & peace unto all that reads this. First, let me say that I am the father of 1 wonderful son & 1 sweet grandson. My daughter passed away at the tender age of 27 in December 2004. I often hear people asking the question, can I be parent & friend to my child or children? As God expects us to be good stewards of the blessings he bestows unto us, he assuredly wants us to be stewards of our child or children. We are to be parents first, as God created man & woman for his divine plan for the family structure. In this role, the child or children are reared in discipline & guidance with reverence for God. If this is your primary role for rearing your child or children, they will know you are their friend. God honors those who are good stewards & our children are no exception. If we are not unified in development of future generations, morality & respect will be lost.
