* I Peter 2 *
Verse 6
*
Wherefore also it is
contained in the scripture,
Behold,
I lay in Sion
a chief corner stone,
elect, precious:
and he that believeth on him
shall not be confounded.
(Isaiah 28:16)
Prophetic
(King James Version)

Grace be unto you, from me my beloved
Christian brothers & sisters.
Giving Him thanks
for allowing the fellowship of His word
through this group once more.
Take out some time in your daily schedule
to give God praise & glory for all
He has done for you. For God has been good
to me & if you can read this letter,
God is being good to you,
so let Him know through your
praise worship today, that you thank
Him for giving us His precious son,
Jesus Christ.
It is because of His daily
mercy & compassion
that
You & I
are not consumed.
(Lamentations 3:22-23)
*******************************
Dear friends as we approach another blessing
of God's giving His precious son unto
us to be reconciled back to Him
in this Christmas season.
With all of the pageantry, decorations, &
O yes, the giving of gifts.
We must keep our religious priority
in order to bring the old cliche
into reality is that
"Jesus Is The Reason For The Season"
There should be nothing more important
in celebrating Christmas, better yet
we as Christians should be giving
praise & glory to Him who came to receive
us unto Himself.
Saving us from our sins &
a doomed state of life.
Well, I want to touch on something that
has one time or another affected each
of us & it also spared not the
mother of Jesus (Mary).
Have you ever been to a play?
I had the chance of playing a 4th grade part
as a little boy in a magic land.
That was a long time ago,
but let me move on,
you notice that in one scene,
certain things are taking place
& then there is an intermission.
Then the curtain opens again & there
is something brand new for you to see.
For this brings me to my topic this week:
(God Elected You For An Intermission)
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
My beloved Christian brothers & sisters,
I know some of you, like me,
have had dreams, hopes, goals,
interrupted by some circumstance(s)
beyond your control. O, some us will say,
if I had gone to college things
would have been better,
or if I had not got pregnant at that time,
my life would have been better.
In some of our choices, things do go wrong,
but our heavenly Father watches over us
& I know for my own testimonies &
I know you have some to,
that if it were not for God's intervention,
I (you) would have been destroyed.
** Am I Right About It **
Come go with me to a play
about a woman called "Mary"
as she went about her daily life,
being a faithful woman unto God
& her husband.
In
(Luke 1)
we can read the life of Mary was about
to change under divine guidance of God.
Her scene was about to change from being
just a wife unto Joseph.
The prophecy of the old testament
was about to be fulfilled through her.
(Isaiah 7:14)
God elected her as a "living stone"
to bare the "Cornerstone"
(Jesus Christ)
who would redeem His people.
My friends, we do not always understand
why things happen to us,
there was a TV show called
"Father Knows Best,"
& this is certainly true about
our life in Christ. If God does not change
our scene at one time or another,
we possibly could self destruct or
bring harm unto others.
We should be so very thankful that God
has called (elected) us from a life
of perversion, sin, greed, etc.
People often shun us when we are going
through certain problems, ills,
not knowing that God is working
through His divine change
of scenery in our lives.
Changing & rearranging our circumstances
to bring us into a place of His pleasure,
so that we can be a blessing to others
& they can see the hand of God in our life.
We are called to be "living stones"
as Christians, born into a glorious inheritance,
by the Word of God in journeying along
through this world toward our
heavenly home land.
As we travel needing nourishment, guidance
& strength constantly to feed on His word,
tasting & experiencing that our precious Lord
is by our side, gracious, kind, & helpful,
as He leads us onward.
Rejoice in Him
That He has Changed Your Scene
(I Peter 1:2-3)
In the text Peter called Christ a
"stone,"
rejected by men as we are at times,
but precious & elected in God's sight,
as we are in being children of God.
Everyone has something to do with this
"Stone," either you will lift Him up &
put Him in as the chief Cornerstone
of your life, which is the will of God.
But if we do not, we must stumble
headlong over Him, tragically, to our death.
To the Jews He was a stumbling block
& a rock of offense. Christian brothers
& sisters many of us feel that way today.
Elected, or chosen, for a foundation
that is everlasting.
Precious beyond compare,
by all that can give worth.
We are stones laid up on Christ to make
a spiritual temple unto God.
The individual Christian is the individual
temple of the Holy Spirit.
(I Corinthians 6:19)
Not only are we "living stones"
in a spiritual temple,
but each of us is a priest in this temple.
Priests represent God to men, & men to God.
Christians are a "holy priesthood."
Has your scene changed to representing
God in your life unto men,
even in intercessory prayer,
not for selfish gains
or status recognition's,
but to pray for those who are hurting,
lost, poor, sick, etc?
As priests,
we cannot offer lambs & goats today,
but brother
Paul tells us to offer ourselves
a living sacrifice.
(Romans 12:1)
Does He have a rightful place in your life?
Thank You Lord For My Salvation
I Am Glad You Changed My Scene
Are You Dear Friend?
Am I Right About It
O Lord
Hell To Shun,
Heaven To Gain,
Sin To Leave,
Jesus, I Cling.

My beloved brothers & sisters,
I hope you have enjoyed this lesson,
in that,
we should thank God
for bringing us to
a place in Him & through this season,
we never forget why Jesus
came into this world.
He left His heavenly place,
born of a virgin
& to die for us, giving
us the free gift
of salvation upon
accepting Him as
Lord & Savior in our life.
It is not about toys, gifts, decorations,
eggnog, bows & ribbons,
lights on our homes,
etc, it is only about
the one who is our
"Great Mediator."
(I Timothy 2:5)
May we keep God first in all that we
do in the upcoming week, never forgetting
to praise & glorify His name.
Pray for one another in the
uplifting of spirit & healing.
If you wish not to be a devoted part of
this ministry in participation,
please send me a note of that reflection,
in that,
I wish not to offend any of you.
May God always walk with you
&
you with God.
Peace
Don
Such As I Have,
I Have Because Of Thee.
