Harvest Time
The He said to the disciples,
The harvest is plentiful,
but the workers are few.

* Hebrews 13 *
Verse 15
*
Through Him,
then let us continually
offer up a sacrifice of praise to God,
that is,
the fruit of our lips that
give thanks to His name.
(Soul Winner's New American)
(Standard New Testament)

Grace be unto you, from me my beloved
Christian brothers & sisters.
Giving Him thanks for allowing the fellowship
of His word through this group once more.
Take out some time in your daily schedule
to give God praise & glory for all He
has done for you. For God has been good
to me & if you can read this letter,
God is being good to you, so let Him
know through your praise worship today,
that you thank Him for giving us
His precious son, Jesus Christ.
It is because of His daily mercy
& compassion that
You & I
are not consumed.
(Lamentations 3:22-23)

The turkey has been carved & put away.
Sweet Potato pies, Dressing, & other down
home cooked delicacies have found their
place in Tupperware like containers all
across this nation on today. Families &
friends have said their good-bye's,
while others bask in a few more moments of
laughter & time spent together.
My Christian brothers & sisters, I would like
to share with you a few things that will
inspire you to be thankful,
not just on yesterday,
but a guide for each of you to
examine your life daily, in whatever state
you should face; losses, distresses,
ailments, etc,
to offer unto Him who has given us
more than we deserve, a lifted up shout
of praise to Him who is worthy of all of
our praises & thanksgiving.
On yesterday, I was blessed so much by friends,
(some, Scripture Time Family), & my family
with words of prayer, encouragement & food.
Early that morning, my spirit was touched
by the thought of how I could bless someone
with a few dollars or a meal. Well, I thought,
my life is a mess & don't have enough to meet
my needs at this stage in my life, but let me
examine at this time my life & all
I have to be thankful for. O, dear friends
my list was long & real,
God has even kept this ministry going.
I called a neighbor & asked if she knew anyone
who could use a meal or 5 dollars,
she knew no one, determined to obey the spirit,
I sought out on a journey in my car,
driving to find someone, well here in Dallas,
they have stopped a lot of panhandling &
most of the time you can find someone
standing around, not so, I preceded on to
find someone to bless. Driving up a street,
a lonely figure caught my eye, disappearing
into a corridor designed to allow people
to walk the street, sheltering them from traffic,
a man with his backpack, tattered clothing,
the look of despair & hopelessness
was emerging from that corridor.
Quickly, I made a u-turn
& caught up with him.
My beloved people, we have
so much to be thankful for,
I called Him to my car
& he was a bit cautious,
but I could see that he trusted me,
from the drab look of downtrodenness
came a tiny smile when he received the gift
& I shall never forget his words,
he said to me.
"God Bless You"
Thank You Lord
For this brings me to my topic this week:
(Be Thankful For Your Trees To Eat From)
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I shall not tarry long in this lesson,
it is more of a call to develop a more
dedicated life to prayer & thanksgiving
unto God in all things.
For He has given us His son
to deliver us from sin.
(Joel 2:32)
(Romans 10:13)
Am I Right About It
In the Garden of Eden, Adam & Eve
were given a multitude of trees
to eat from, but they chose to disobey God
& eat of the very one he told them not to.
This is Satan's #1 attack on Christians,
always look to God
for your wisdom & direction.
So much like us, we always seem to want
what others have or not being truly
thankful for what we do have,
not enjoying the very things we already have.
Here is a question for
each of you to ponder over:
If People Were Truly Thankful
For What They Have,
Why Then Is The Next Day After Thanksgiving
The Biggest Sale Day?
My Lord
Thank You For My Salvation
When you start to feel
ungrateful & unthankful,
having a spirit of gripe & bitter
about things in your life.
Make a copy of this lesson &
in those times, read these words.
Keep Jesus First In Your Life
(Colossians 2:6-7)
Stay Rooted In Him
Commit Your Life To Thanksgiving
(Philippians 4:6)
(II Timothy 1:3)
It Is A Catalyst (agent) To Your Prayers
Thank God For Your Friends
Stay In The Will Of God
(I Thessolonians 5:18)
Being Unthankful Is A Sin
Get Back In Step With God
Sing Praises & Hymns To Him
(Ephesians 5:19-20)
Ask Paul & Silas
(Acts 16:25-26)
****************************
When you think you have
gone through so much trouble,
I bid you to read the troubles of Paul.
(II Corinthians 11:23-27)
Not only did he suffer persecutions for Christ,
he also had a "thorn in his side."
It is a bad enough
when we go through trials,
but adding an ailment
can magnify the problem so much,
but I hear brother Paul saying:
"Be Content"
(II Corinthians 12:8-10)
Those Who Are Content,
Have Enough,
Those Who Complain,
Have To Much.
(Author Unknown)
Am I Right About It
***************************
Dear Christian friends, God has blessed me
so very much in friends, family,
& those of you in this ministry.
I ask each of you to take a pen & paper,
making a list of things you are thankful
& grateful for, submitting it to God.
Let us never forget all of His benefits
unto us & that we keep Him first in all
that we do in the upcoming week.
Pray for one another in the uplifting
of spirit & healing.
If you enjoy any of the lessons or
just have a sentiment,
please send me a note of that reflection.
If any of you wish to be opted from the group,
also send a note, in that,
I wish not to offend any of you.
May God always walk with you
& you with God.
Such As I Have,
I Have
Because Of Thee.
