* Ezekiel 43 *
Verse 2
*
And,
behold, the glory of the God
of Israel came from the way of the east:
and his voice was like a noise
of many waters:
and the earth shined with his glory.
(King James Version)

Grace be unto you, from me my beloved Christian brothers & sisters. Giving Him thanks for allowing the fellowship of His word through this group once more.
Take out some time in your daily schedule to give God praise & glory for all He has done for you. It is because of His daily mercy & compassion that You & I are not consumed. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Dear friends, these are a few beautiful sites I have pictured in my mind & one, I have seen before.
(1)
A place where dew laden blades of grass, each with it's own droplets of moisture, waiting to embrace the early morning sunshine.
(2)
Against the Southwestern sky, majestically lying is a canvas of Indian Paintbrushes on the desert floor.
(3)
Coral reefs beneath crystal clear emerald waters,
near a secluded Tropical Island
cove.
Beautiful indeed these images are, but nothing compares to what some of the Old Testament saw. Moses, the people he led, Ezekiel, & others witnessed the most breathtaking sight of all time. They had a glimpse of the glory of God. A visible manifestation of the Lord's invisible being & character. Moses experienced it on Mt. Sinai, and the bible said His face shone.
(Exodus 34:29)
The Israelites saw it in a cloud, before
God provided them with quail.
(Exodus 16:10)
Ezekiel saw God's glory return to the temple, & he fell on the ground.
(Ezekiel 43:1-5)
O my beloved brothers & sisters, come go with me to a place where God's glory shall not only be a glimpse or temporary, but will be with all who have accepted His precious Son as Lord & Savior for all eternity.
For this brings me to my topic this week:
(1 Mansion Place On Gold Street)
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
In the book of Revelation, God himself is the author, finally revealing future events through Apostle John, the "beloved disciple," most intimately earthly friend of Jesus, the writer of the Gospel of John. Uncovering what is yet to come in the completed work of Christ. Some people may shudder at the visions, others will embrace the final word of God & yearn for the expectant & sure return to come, risen Christ. Today, the theme is set before you of our heavenly place, where God's glory will ever be present before us.
(Revelation 21:1-22:5)
**Descent Of The City**
The new Jerusalem is the abode of the redeemed during the millennium & during eternity. John said he saw a new heaven & earth suggesting fresh life rising from the decay & wreck of the old world. There is indication of a cease to the old order.
(Exodus 20:11; Ezekiel 48:28)
It is adorned as of a bride for her husband. God shall be with men & old experiences shall be no more. he shall wipe away every tear.
Death shall vanish & with it sorrow, crying, & pain.
O Lord
John was instructed to write from God who sits on the throne, for the words are true. He might have been so overwhelmed at what he was seeing & learning that momentarily he forgot to write. New things will be experienced: the fountain of the water of life, full inheritance, & mostly important,
a full fellowship.
We Shall See Him
We see that eight characteristics of people will be excluded & utterly destroyed. The text does not say that anyone who has committed any of these sins are excluded, but those whose lives are devoted in these ways. There is a difference, for instance, in ever, telling a lie & being a liar as the habit of one's life.

Description Of The City
Now John is bidden to view the city in greater detail. This is the place which Christ has gone to prepare for His people.
(John 14:2)
This is theme of this lesson, in that, all who are saved will have a mansion to live in for eternity & see Jesus & God with His glory forever. You know friends, on earth, to get a house, there are credit ratings, down payments, closing costs, etc. This is just a home & it, over time will depreciate, need repairs & other dilemmas. But Jesus paid it all on the cross for us to enjoy our own mansion, not home, never to decay or rot. Let's finish seeing how the city where we shall have our mansion shall be like.
Will You Say Amen?
The glory of the city is the glory of God. Her light is the radiance of God's complete character, light as a valuable gem, clear as crystal reflecting the fullness of the facet's of God's person. There is a great & high wall suggesting the security of the bride. In the wall are twelve gates with an angel at each one & the names of the twelve tribes of Israel inscribed on them. Three gates on each of the four sides. the wall has twelve foundations & on them are the names of the twelve apostles. Israel & the church are distinguished, both included as redeemed people of God. The angel that talked with John had a golden reed (ten feet long) to measure the city, gates & wall. Our future home shall measure 12,000 furlongs (1,500 miles) & it is in the shape of a cube, foursquare. About the distance I am told, from the Pacific coast of the USA to the Mississippi River. This cube or foursquare shape of the city reminds one of the fourfold dimensions given of the love of God.
God always has a purpose in all that He does.
(Ephesians 3:18)
The tetragon is mentioned in
(Exodus 27:1; 28:16; 30:2; 36:15-16; 39:9)
(Ezekiel 41:21; 43:16; 45:1; 48:20)
This form was to Greek thinkers as a symbol of perfection, surely this will be in the kingdom to come. The beauty of what John saw is just a remarkable array of colors. The wall was of jasper (green quartz), the city of pure gold, clear as crystal. My friends, the foundation of this wondrous place was adorned with precious stones. Magnificent colors of jasper, green; sapphire, blue; chalcedony, green; emerald, green; sardonyx, brown & white; sardius, red; chrysolyte, yellow; beryl, green; topaz, yellow; chrysoprasus, apple green; jacinth, blue; amethyst, purple. The gates will be pearls and the street (not streets) shall be pure, transparent gold. Nothing on this earth compares with the beauty of this city to come. There will be no temple or place of worship, for God & the Lamb are present & constitute the temple. The city requires no moon or sun for the glory of God & Jesus will light the city. There might be a moon or sun, but they are not needed. Only the redeemed are allowed access during the millennium & eternity.
Delights Of the City
The source of the river is the throne of God & the Lamb & like the city, it is crystal clear. The river is water of life, & it's presence in the city simply means that the fullness of life will be the true experience of all that inhabit it.
The tree of life,
(Genesis 2:9; Revelation 2:7)
is also an assurance of fullness of life in that city, yielding fruit constantly, indicating the continuous blessing that will pour forth. In the leaves of the tree are healing for the nations, again giving some sort of blessing. This is paradise my beloved Christian brothers & sisters. Excluding the curse & darkness of things past. We shall have the privilege of serving God & Jesus, seeing His face, full of glory & having His name on our foreheads. A proof of complete consecration to God's service. O, dear friends, we shall reign with Him forever & ever, for this will be complete exaltation & perfect exultation.

Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God.
(Matthew 5:8)
Not only does this verse of scripture imply on earth that when we live for Jesus here, we shall see Him in our spirit, but like this lesson, when we cross over to the other side, He shall be there waiting on us to show us our heavenly mansion. I know this was a long lesson, but I want you to take a bite & digest this. It is like medicine, maybe a little bitter or sweet, but it will do you good. Jesus paid it all for us to have the right to live forever in this city. This is glorious & wonderful news. He was scourged for us, beaten, whipped with the cat-o-nine tails with it's fragments of (metal & or bone) on the end, cutting into not only flesh, but tissue & muscle also. A thorny crown placed on His head & already battered & bruised body. The ultimate sacrifice, having hands & feet nailed to a piece of timber, breaking & pushing aside bone. Lifted up toward heaven where all could see & He thirsted also friends. Some will say " He was Jesus (God in the flesh), He could take it," but no friends, you are wrong, for He was just like you & me, only He knew no sin. He hurted, got tired, cried & felt everything we do, that is why we serve a savior that can relate & understand what we face each day. The bible says in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed
"father, take this cup from me",
(Mark 14:36)
words from our Lord that He did not want to do it, just like us in some things, we don't want to do it, but Jesus came to be about the business of the father & He loved us so, that He was willing to endure this for you & me.
Dear friends, there is not much being taught these days on mercy & salvation, but like I stated in changing the name to this ministry, I am concerned about our eternal salvation. Even though we get burdened down with issues facing us, but keep your eyes on eternity. Knowing that we shall be with Christ outweighs any problem we have. So share this lesson with those you know are lost & never have accepted the free gift of salvation, that in the time to come, we shall see each other on Gold Street & can visit our already departed loved ones, family & friends forever.
Serving God & the Lamb for all eternity.
He is coming soon.
Dear Lord
