Verse 27

For this child I prayed;
and the Lord
has granted me
my petition
which I asked of him:

Grace be unto you, from me my beloved Christian brothers & sisters.
Giving Him thanks for allowing the fellowship of His word through this group once more.
Take out some time in your daily schedule to give God praise & glory
for all He has done for you.

A father took his family to a lake resort for some quality time very much needed. Someone on the father's job gave him the gift to go & have a nice family outing. They were all so excited, upon arriving, everyone went on their way, enjoying the beautiful scenery, dad was tinkering with the boat, trying to get it started, mom was in the house, making ready for everyone, the oldest daughter:9, was left in charge of the 2 other children, a brother:7, & a baby sister:4. Well, somehow in the midst of all the excitement, the baby sister could not be found. The oldest child screamed for everyone as she discovered the baby had fallen into the lake, at the end of a pier. Dad came hurriedly & dove into the murky water, searching for his little girl. Frantically looking, he had to come up for air, not finding her, he went down again, the water distorting his view somewhat, not finding her, the third time, down he went again, into the water, determined to find his baby, to his amazement, he saw a sunken part of the pier at the bottom of the lake & a little figure clinging to a part of the pier, it was his little girl. He grabbed her & swam for the top. After reviving her, they thanked God that she was fine & the father asked her,
"What were you doing holding on to that part of the pier?",
she answered softly unto her dad with a voice of trust,
"I was waiting for you daddy."

For this brings me to my topic this week:
(Never To Lost For God)
******************************************************
Dear friends, what a wonderful relationship this dad & his little girl had. This text lesson has 2 parts, as in this story, the little girl knew that her dad would come for her & all she had to do was just wait for him at the pier. I will not take long on this issue of children, but if you have them, there should be a relationship so strong, that if they got into trouble, they would be assured that you would be there for them. We must not be latchkey parents, just allowing them to come in & do whatever they want & not be a part of their lives.

We should always:
Love God
Love Your Children

Pray To God
Pray With Our Children

Cry Unto God
Cry With Our Children

Let God Teach Us His Will
Teach Our Children His Will

**Am I Right About It**

Now, the text lesson is giving us a prime example on the joy of waiting on God. Hannah wanted a child so bad that in her prayers of emotional & deep context, a priest accused her of being drunk.
(I Samuel 1:13-15)
Like us in our feelings of being abandoned, dishonored, & unfulfilled, Hannah surely had these feelings. O, dear friends but you know that our God will never forget us & he remembered Hannah, she conceived, now her joy was complete.
For all who wait for the Lord, long hours of enduring, will one day give way to rejoicing in Him.
She bore a son named Samuel-"asked of God." See, she had to wait for awhile, knowing through her faith in Him, He would turn her sorrow into overwhelming joy. I feel God speaking to me & I pray you as well my brothers & sisters, we must just hold on for Him. We are never to lost for Him, to find us in our troubles, sin, hurts, mistreatments, despairs, etc. Just do not swim out into the murky water of life, find a part of the pier of His promises to us & hold on. Our God will surely come look for us & save & deliver us from all of our troubles.
God is responsible for our welfare.
(Psalm 103:13)

How do we know we won't be disappointed when we wait for Him?

We should be as a watchman who knows the light will appear in the morning. Whether through a promise directly from His word, the wise counsel of a friend, or the quiet witness of the Holy Spirit, He will meet our need--as certainly as morning light always breaks through the darkness of night.

Am I Right About It

Thank You Lord
My Lord Is Near To Me

My Christian brothers & sisters, this lesson has blessed me so much this morning & for you I pray as well, I want to continue with so much more, but I want to share this prayer & whenever you are feeling God has forgot about you,
read this:
Father in heaven, we want to trust you,
But sometimes we get so confused.
Please forgive us for wanting answers
so that we don't trust You.
Thank you for being so patient with us.
Please help us to have the same patience with You,
as we WAIT to see that Your
plans and timing are better than our own.

~O Lord~

My soul has been touched this morning, pray for one another in the uplifting of spirit & healing. If you have any sentiments about the lesson or any thoughts, please share them with me. Be an encourager, not a discourager.
May God always walk with you & you with God.

Peace
Don
